This scholarship is NOT just a scholarship; it is an invested hope in my generation’s future, a promise to become something better than what harsh environments have given us, it is opportunity to maximize our time in college to not regret one second of being there, it is a consistent friend that reminds you have support along the way, and it is a family that you can always come to or will have your back when you least expect it. I am so grateful for this scholarship –no –better yet “family.” My successes in college would not exist with this “family”; therefore, I humbly thank the Fishers for this scholarship!
